Meet Dr. Rainey
Dr. Nick Rainey is a Board-Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic and Manual Physical Therapists. He completed both residency and fellowship training with a focus on the spine and pelvic health. He later pursued additional pelvic health training, developing a strong clinical lens for identifying pelvic floor-driven components of lumbosacral and hip pain. His approach is grounded in evidence-based practice and shaped by the work of Geoff Maitland, Robin McKenzie, Peter O’Sullivan, Stuart McGill, and Adriaan Louw. Dr. Rainey is the founder of three private practices in Sierra Vista, Arizona: Rainey Pain & Performance, Sierra Vista Headache and TMJ Specialists, and Access Therapy. He serves as the lead instructor for the residency program hosted at his clinics and is deeply committed to mentoring students, residents, and fellows. In addition to running his practices, he teaches continuing education courses and serves as adjunct faculty at Tufts University–Phoenix. Above all, Dr. Rainey is passionate about progressing the profession—one provider at a time.
