I'm a physical therapist, clinic owner, and educator who works with orthopedic patients across the lifespan in real clinical practice. Imaging decisions often get overlooked in continuing education. Early in my career, I had plenty of manual therapy and exercise technique courses but struggled with knowing when imaging findings actually changed my plan of care, how to order appropriately without overusing costly studies, and how to communicate results in a way patients understood. Through years of clinical experience, mentoring clinicians, and teaching residents, I've learned that confident, evidence-based imaging decisions have a greater impact on patient outcomes than any manual therapy technique or special test ever could. My goal with this course is to help you refine the clinical decision rules that determine when imaging is warranted, how your findings should shape your plan of care, and how to communicate results in a way that drives meaningful patient trust and engagement.
